MIKE VARELA is the owner & founder of the internationally recognize haircutting education company The Kingly Hair Group. As a former educator at the World Renowned Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles & Miami Mike has dedicated his career to full-time education since 2009. Breaking away from Sassoon in 2013 Mike has became a highly sought after Independent Educators in the Technical Haircutting world. With his "Mastery of Haircutting" Education System Mike has continued to travel all over the U.S. & Internationally teaching In-Salon Seminars & offering classes at his new home base of Meridian, Idaho since relocating from California in the summer of 2025. About Our Education:
We have one main purpose with our education and that is to teach the highest level of technical haircutting available. We understand that the true science behind masterful haircutting is not something that is taught in the American Cosmetology School System
and in turn has created an industry of stylist who are unsure, uncomfortable or just plain scared to cut hair. Ultimately, leaving many to rely on YouTube or social media outlets like
